1/24 Submissions and Artist Statement

The photos I am turning in today are the first ones I have ever developed before but the second reel of film I've shot.  My original reel of film I took wasn't loaded into the camera properly.  It was pretty disappointing to develop them and then realize nothing had actually been photographed but I can assure you I won't be making that mistake again.  Theses photos were taken at night while a snow storm was coming in.  It definitely made it tough to shoot in those conditions but at the same time it was exciting to push myself.  I am happy with how a handful of them turned out even if it was difficult to get the pictures to turn out in such low light.  More importantly, I learned how light and the lack thereof affects the photos I take.
